VIP - Victory Instruction Plus
For girls entering grades 6, 7, and 8

Thank you for your interest in learning more about the Victory Instruction Plus (VIP) program at Our Lady of Victory Academy. This summer enrichment course reinforces skills in English, Math and Reading needed for the TACHS exam—Test for Admission into Catholic High School.
In addition, VIP offers students a glimpse of the high school experience—developing friendships, working together in a classroom setting and on the playing field.
This is an opportunity for young women to achieve a greater understanding of the importance of building community.
PROGRAM FEATURES
· A professional staff experienced in teaching English, Math and Reading.
· Two hours of daily comprehensive skills development in a small classroom setting.
· On-site recreational time including sports and art.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Since 1945 Our Lady of Victory Academy is dedicated to the development and education of today’s young women for tomorrow’s world. As part of that mission, OLVA continues to offer enhancement programs to students. The Victory Instruction Plus program at OLVA, combines social activities, athletics and creative classroom techniques. What’s more, together with reinforcing skills in Reading, Language and Math, this unique program prepares and assists students entering Grades 6, 7 and 8 with high school. VIP will run from July 1st through July 25th with a graduation ceremony on the last day. Students interested in registering for the program must do so by April 15th. At time of registration, a copy of the student’s third quarter report card must be submitted with the deposit. The verification from a physician that the student is able to participate in basketball, volleyball, football, softball and soccer must be submitted with the final payment by June 23rd. If a student cannot take part in a certain sport, a letter must be attached to the medical form indicating any medical conditions that prevent the student from joining. In addition, the parent/guardian must sign and submit the Waivers.
