How to Apply

Admission to the ninth grade is based primarily on successful performance on the Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools (TACHS) administered each year, and the student's expressed desire to attend OLVA. Students attending Catholic/ Public Schools can obtain the TACHS application from their home school or may call Our Lady of Victory Academy for the application. In selecting students for admission all three choices indicated on the TACHS are considered. If a student does not take the TACHS exam, acceptance to Victory requires a personal interview with the Assistant Principal, Mrs. Anne Gilligan-Evans. Parents can contact Mrs. Gilligan-Evans at 914-693-1633 ext. 122 to set up an appointment. Relevant school information and records must be provided by the elementary/ middle school.

OLVA welcomes transfer students of each grade level. Students interested in transferring to OLVA must contact Mrs. Gilligan-Evans for an appointment at 914-693-1633 ext 122. Every effort is made to work closely with these students and their parents/guardians to affect a harmonious transfer.
