Dear Alum,
Greetings and a warm welcome! In the 60 years since the founding of Our Lady of Victory Academy by the Sisters of Mercy we have consistently provided young women with the skills and confidence to become effective, contributing members of our society. This year is no exception.
In 2007 we are proud of several achievements. OLVA received its seven year re-accreditation by the Middle States Association for Colleges and Secondary Schools. Five graduating seniors were recognized as National Merit scholars. Lacrosse became our newest sport. Important capital improvements are underway including roof replacement and library renovations. At the heart of our progress is a strategic plan that combines academic excellence, women's leadership, and service, and embraces all aspects of school life.
I invite you to explore our website and get to know the vibrant community that OLVA is today.
Alumnae contributions are vital for our continued growth. Our Annual Fund exists to provide a way for you and other members of the OLVA family to support the school and its special covenant with young women. Each and every year, financial contributions that are unrestricted, are used to support vital programs and services for our students.
My sincere gratitude and thanks to all who have supported OLVA with your gifts throughout the year. You have made so much more possible. I look forward to your continued companionship as we continue our journey of “Giving Women Voice”.
